I have been writing stories and poems since I was a child. Starting in grade school, I took elective creative writing courses and met authors to learn their creative processes. 
My first stories were about goblins and unicorns in fantasy worlds. Now, I still write fantasy but throw in a lot of smut and dark romance.  
Most days you will find me curled up on my couch with my laptop, lost in my own worlds. At night, I'll be slinging drinks and having a great time with customers who love to hear about my dark stories.
